Wood is a wonderfully natural and safe material for pets but sometimes it has a mind of its own! 

We craft our Bungalow Hideys out of beautiful pine wood, which occasionally develops a slight curve known as warping.

What's the deal?

In this special "Oops" version, the back panel has experienced minor warping. Functionality is not affected at all; your pet will still love their cozy bungalow. The only difference is a slight visual imperfection that doesn't meet our strict aesthetic standards.

The Bungalow hidey is shipped flat packed and requires assembly before use. Each panel and lid is outfitted with dowels for easy assembly, no screws, nails or glue required! The hidey comes with an instruction manual for assembly.

Materials

Made from quality unvarnished kiln-dried pine wood, the Bungalow is perfectly safe for small animals that enjoy an occasional nibble. Only the floor of the enclosure is varnished for easy cleaning. 

Cleaning Instructions

Please gently spot clean areas with warm water. Avoid solvents or other strong cleaning products (including vinegar) that can damage the wood. As the hidey is made out of unvarnished wood, there is a possibility that the material may slowly degrade overtime. The area that will require the most cleaning is the floor of the enclosure, which is why the floor is varnished so it can be easily cleaned. Please keep the hidey indoors, as unvarnished wood is prone to environmental damage, fungal staining, and increased degradation if left outside. We recommend using a soft brush and/or vacuum cleaner to clean the entire enclosure if desired.
